Creating custom product groups

You can create custom product groups in order to output them on the pages of your online store (like the featured products group), or for analyzing an income from specific product groups.

To open the group list, please click the Products submenu in the Shop menu and then click the Manage product groups button. Click the Add group button to create a new group, or click a record in the list to edit an existing group.

To add or remove products from a custom product group, click the Products submenu of the Shop menu and then click the Manage product groups button. Then click the name of an existing product group. Then on the Product tab you can add or remove product from the list.

Group form fields description

• Group name
  The name of the group to display in the administration area.
• Code
  The unique code which can be used for programming needs to load a specific group from the database.
• Products (tab)
  A list of products belonging to the group. Here, you can add or remove products from a custom group.
