Managing customers

To open the customer list, please click the Customers submenu in the Shop menu. Click the Create customer button to create a new customer, or click a record in the list to preview an existing customer.

There are two types of customers in LemonStand – registered and guest customers. Guest customers are those who have purchased something without registering, in the guest mode. You can forbid guest customers in your implementation of the online store.

Registered customers can have a password and can log into your front-end online store to view the order list, if corresponding pages are implemented in your online store. When you create a customer in the administration area, it automatically becomes a registered customer.

All fields in the customer form are self-descriptive.

Deleting customers

You can delete a customer from the Edit Customer page, and from the Customer List page. The Customer List page allows you to delete and restore multiple customers, in bulk mode. LemonStand does not delete customers which have orders. Instead it marks such customers as deleted. Customers, marked as deleted, can be restored.
